If we've quite finished blank comments, let's move on okay? It was clever and/or funny the first time. Not the fifth person to do it.

Anyway, I thought it was clever. And ditto what zem said.

This one is pretty funny. It's one of those ones that some people will think "Hey, this is pretty funny", and others will think "What's the point?".

It was funny.....but if the next to last panel had been L's comment followed by the tombstone and Dudley being killed by a newt(kinds of) small animal, like a lizard, which spends most of
its time in the water.
        [ Oxford's Student's Dictionary of Current English ]

"Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg and howlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble."

I think it would have been funnier.

Otherwise, the same joke with fewer panels would have been just as funny.

its time in the water.

Too bad the ratings are down. I'd love to see if everybody really liked this as much as the comments suggest. I'd have given it a 'Fair' for cleverness, but I didn't really think it was that funny.

Well, when everyone's dead, there's no one left to write the inscriptions!

SomeoneElse: I think it may have been a reflex action?

You see here a grave"Who'd care to dig 'em," said the old, old man,
"Those six feet marked in chalk?
Much I talk, more I walk;
Time I were buried," said the old, old man.
