Is this some sort of mimicThe ancestors of the modern day chameleon, these creatures can assume the form of anything in their surroundings. They may assume the shape of objects or dungeon features. Unlike the chameleon though, which assumes the shape of another creature and goes in hunt of food, the mimic waits patiently for its meals to come in search of it. Well I think it's painfully obvious that they're books and scrolls. Only a real idiot would think otherwise and have any qualms with the job.

With that many ?'s and +'s, my assumption was that it was a bookshop. If Jack Simth didn't point out the punchline I don't think I ever would have gotten it.

Did I un derstand correctly: Dudley wanted some weapons, so he decided to make a deratization in the shop to get weapons in return. But now he will have to work with all those books and scrolls and all he gets are measly arrows.

Frame One: Dudley approaches a shop. He is greeted (falsely) as the exterminator. Frame Three: Dudley steps to the arrows, to find that it's actually EVERYTHING ELSE that are mimics. Ba-dum-ch. I thought it was excellent, anyway. Not so funny when you have to explain it.
