For one thing, there shouldn't be a message for undead turning. For another thing, for wands that have a message, I think it's "a " or "your ", and probably the former. |

There probably isn't a message, but having one is necessary to make the comic work.... Artistic license, anybody? -.
So I guess the did get blasted to by the Eyes after all. Tch. Well, he'll be better off without his . |

Corpses disappear the turn that pets start eating them- the pet may stay in one place for some time unless displaced, though.
(G)ood anyway |

Ogden isn't really a pet, he's a character. And characters take multiple turns to eat corpses.
Last night I rolled a with INT 8. Not so rare maybe; but timely :) |

I based my 1 in 15.2 million on information from:
http://www.steelypips.org/nethack/343/stat-343.html
Priests have a base INT of 7 and only 10% of their remaining points go into INT, while Wizards have a base of 10 and 30% of their remaining points.
To get 8, a needs to have NONE of their 30 points allocated to INT, and then suffer the 5% chance of a -2 to 2 stat adjustment.
