I'm in almost complete agreement, though I would add this caveat: a comic need not be funny on its own, however it can be funny when taken in context with earlier comics, but that's kinda obvious. |

I'm afraid that I have to agree with G here. Comics need to stand alone, whether or not they're part of a series. |
