My money's on "Dudley, drowned in a moat by a krakenOut from the water a long sinuous tentacle had crawled; it
was pale-green and luminous and wet. Its fingered end had
hold of Frodo's foot, and was dragging him into the water.
Sam on his knees was now slashing at it with a knife. The
arm let go of Frodo, and Sam pulled him away, crying out
for help. Twenty other arms came rippling out. The dark
water boiled, and there was a hideous stench.

Shouldn't Dudley come before Duffy and Duke?

Aeschylus, you killed it. I'm still marking it excellent though for the effect it had before you ruinedit.

I move for Aeschylus's comment to be struck from the record.

Hey guys, Dudley isn't necessarily reading through them one-by-one.

Joke killed doubly by Aeschylus's observation and then again by L's defensive response...still a Good though.

Joke killed a third time by Diefe's comment and then a FOURTH time by Grognor's. Luckily, comments don't necessarily count.

*sets fire to all the joke-killers*

I still think it's an excellent comment on poor Dudley's deaths. Kind of like the ones for Kassil on my hard drive...

"See volumes 2-7" would've been better.

I was under the impression Dudley had his own edition of the Book of the DeadFaustus: Come on Mephistopheles. What shall we do?
Mephistopheles: Nay, I know not. We shall be cursed with bell,
book, and candle.
Faustus: How? Bell, book, and candle, candle, book, and bell,
Forward and backward, to curse Faustus to hell.
Anon you shall hear a hog grunt, a calf bleat, and an ass bray,
Because it is Saint Peter's holy day.

. It would be too extensive for an appendix, and is probably varied enough (excepting newt(kinds of) small animal, like a lizard, which spends most of
its time in the water.
        [ Oxford's Student's Dictionary of Current English ]

"Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg and howlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble."
