Explanation Of The Comic
Dudley explains that he fights well
And eats more food than stores would sell.
He finds a pancake on the floor,
Enters the gap. (There is no .)
polymorph the grabs
And zaps it twice, intends two stabs.
But no and grid bugs are these!
RNG wants please,
Capital H, which is some monster
I know not. It is not lobster.
- Kernigh
I wonder what the H and q would be. (Nethack says H is some kind of .)

Isn't q what is used for the Cow Patch? If I remember my American Tales correctly Paul Bunyan was a of a man with a pet blue ox. An ox is very simular to a cow if you squint your eyes just right. |

That means Dudley said, "I've heard that this game is based on mythology, but this is ridiculous!" before he polymorphed into an H. |

I knew I messed something up. The last panel should be H talking, since he's not an @ anymore. |

Eneekmot, I think you did alright. Although the Paul Bunyan thing is a bit vague, I'm glad you marked the speaker with "@" because I would have been confused if the speaker would have been an "H" |

Roflmao!
Is it that hard to get?
He finds a pancake; pancake=lumberjack food; this is an omen of what's to come.
He gets zapped by polymorph and turns into a (Paul Bunyan, a lumberjack)
His pet gets zapped too and turns into a (Babe, the great blue ox)
The mythology bit is because the story of Paul Bunyan is a tall tale, similar to a myth in many respects.
Seriously, was it that hard to figure out?
Top quality comic, eneekmot! And those of you who didn't get it...those low ratings completely undeserved!
...not like anybody's probably gonna read this given I'm 4 months after the last poster, but... |

If you have to explain it, it's probably not funny. |
