So, is the joke only that your computer has to spend a while 'rendering' nethack, or is there something more to it?

I found it funny, because the computer I use does that too. Also, "You rebalance your load. Movement is difficult." was the prefect line for this comic. It's not quite side-splitting, but, anyway...Good.

Well, after spending too long trying to find a pattern in the walls and only then reading the tag at the bottom (d'oh!), I rate this one good. Brought a smile to my face.

And that happens to me, when playing ToME. Every time I move it takes around 15 seconds for the map to redraw (one character at a time),

My computer sucks, but it doesn't suck THAT much. Yet. (Mind you, I've noticed occasional lag playing Legerdemain and Incursion slow downs somewhat at deeper levels.)

Did that to me in 3.4.0 but then I upgraded to 3.4.3. Probably some kind of memory bug.

Same here- I sent in one about laptops with some Vista bashing. Hopw we'll see some new ones soon. Someone get Dion some speed boots. :)
