The first three panels seem to make sense, but I don't get the rest... |

I suspect it might have something to do with the copper from the being replaced with iron from the ... maybe its blood to be more specific. Why a chain though? |

Maybe because iron chains are considered the less useful object in all nethack? |

E for chEmistry.
However, I still don't get that last one. I'm gonna assume that it's the iron in the 's blood...? |

I think it would be better without the last 3 panels. |

I have to agree, the last three panels don't make much sense... I'm sure the joke is supposed to be in those, but I evidently don't get it. |

I agree, you should have stopped with the first three. |

Is it relevant that the two zinc wands disappeared? (Dudley never picked them up.) I'm guessing no, that's just a mistake (or omission).
Fair as a comic, but G for chemistry. (Which is not the same as alchemy, of course.) |

I'm sorry to disagree, but the chemistry just wasn't there for me. |

I'm pretty sure the chain is supposed to be composed of the three wands fused together. I am lost as to the fried and the copper bit, however. |

The was fried due to a battery formed from the copper + zinc, almost certainly; that's also where the lightning came from (except that it was used earlier; are the panels in the wrong order?). I don't get the last panel, though. |
