Am I correct in thinking that that is meant to be Rodney?
I think it is a fair comic. (Oh and Frosty piss!) |

Hrrmh...wouldn't it be more disturbing to repeatedly kill yourself (as in 'bashing the ', not committing suicide)? Not that we all hadn't fought our own ghosts several times, though. It's kinda eerie too.
BTW, what do people think about the factual correctness when it comes to visible areas and objects in D'sD strips? Is it acceptable that the readers can see more than Dudley? Do you care about 'breaking the rules' in this area? After all, plenty of the events shown in these strips are unlikely to happen in NH itself. Should it be a major concern to the authors or readers? |

This strip was nice. I liked it.
Wonderer: calm down. It's just the new authors. In the early days, Dion pretty much made the comic look 100% like NetHack would. Now... well, at least the comic's still up! |

Are you slipping in some reference to la petite mort, by any chance? :)

I am quite calm. It was a honest question, without any exclamation marks. I really want to hear your opinions. I think in many cases it makes following easier if we can clearly see where the characters have been. On the other hand, sometimes it makes the frames look busy if there's random junk, movement, dark areas and appearing walls. In those cases some "magic mapping" might make reading easier. I honestly don't know what would be the optimal solution. Depends on the strip, probably.
In this particular strip I'd have preferred realistic view. The magically mapped extra rooms don't contribute that much but make you...erm...wonder.
(I made the clairvoyance remark in the June 6th strip so I do spot these things. It's another question when I care and where it's appropriate to give some extra view to the readers.)
' ': Sorry, no. It's just you. |

Well, so much for my reading skills... (I didn't notice the "Hello, Rodney!" bit at the start.) |
