It is spoily, but dudley is at an obstruction in the dungeon that can be passed by using an instrument and playing the right tune. He is playing notes from A-G, and is trying to find the combination that opens the drawbridge.

P and U aren't musical notes, but the game will let you try to play them. My offline version plays sound for each note when you improvise, and everything that isn't a note is some really low 'note'.

Shel, I saw an algorithm with a worst-case scenario of 6 tries. And that would only occur for 179 out of 16807 possible tunes.
