Nesman: I don't agree. Most of them are independent, but #3 clearly follows #2. After drinking the hallucination , he's hoping for extra healing to cure the hallucination. (His expectations have dropped...) |

If you think about it, the survival rate in NetHack is actually higher than in real life. In real life, you're guaranteed a . In NetHack, however, you have an infinitesimal yet non-zero chance of ascending to demigod(ess)-hood and becoming immortal.
