This is classic Dudley! The one thing that's really been missing since Dion is having Nethack deliver the punchlines, not @.

I can't seem to figure out how to send my comic to Dion. If I email it, it turns out really messed up...

Are you using HTML mails? If you do, switch it off to write plain ASCII mails.

I don't get it, should this be funny?
Or is this just too simple?

Okay, thanks.

@Eemeli: He worked REALLY hard to get 2 goldA metal of characteristic yellow colour, the most precious
metal used as a common commercial medium of exchange. Symbol,
Au; at. no. 79; at. wt. 197.2. It is the most malleable
and ductile of all metals, and very heavy (sp. gr., 19.3).
It is quite unalterable by heat, moisture, and most
corrosive agents, and therefore well suited for its use in
coin and jewelry.

, then when he gives up, he hears some in a fountainRest! This little Fountain runs
Thus for aye: -- It never stays
For the look of summer suns,
Nor the cold of winter days.
Whose'er shall wander near,
When the Syrian heat is worst,
Let him hither come, nor fear
Lest he may not slake his thirst:
He will find this little river
Running still, as bright as ever.
Let him drink, and onward hie,
Bearing but in thought, that I,
Erotas, bade the Naiad fall,
And thank the great god Pan for all!

Ok, thanks eneekmot, I really didn't think it that way, I thought that the shopkeeperThese strange creatures live mostly on the surface of the
earth, gathering together in societies of various forms, but
occasionally a stray will descend into the depths and commit
mayhem among the dungeon residents who, naturally, often
resent the intrusion of such beasts. They are capable of
using weapons and magic, and it is even rumored that the
Wizard of Yendor is a member of this species.

No, no, that's not it. You're supposed to tunnel into (and out of) the vault.

When you tunnel into the vault, you use the same tunnel to escape.
