well, i believe in quaffing unID'd potions...they're too heavy to carry around in the earlyish game. |

Well, I usually make a stash or build my strength with -pushing in Soko-Ban if things get heavy, but if you're really going to quaff a bunch of un-ID'ed potions, at least be sure to use a uni- to eliminate the very nasties, and lock yourself in a closet in case you get a !oSleeping or are polymorph into something helpless.
I still remember the time when I accidentally drank the wrong and polyed into a .

It has to do with the recent thread on rgrn, wherein someone thought nethack could do with a built in editor. I don't know why, emacs can already have a built in nethack.

I think this strip refers to the fact that once you ID an item once(type of item like , etc.), the character will always know what that one is when he next sees a same kind of item. (With the exception of , of course.) |
